Minutes of the Extra Ordinary Meeting of Gosberton Parish Council
Held on Wednesday 18th January 2023 at the Public Hall
Present: Councillors: J Clark (Chair), S Wray, S Thorley, P. Waudby, F Newton (Clerk).

123. Apologies for absence and reasons given. No apologies received
124. To receive declarations of Interests and consideration of any requests for dispensations in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 – none received
125. To discuss the Youth Centre Building- several members of the Council met with the Trustees at the Youth Club building on Saturday 14th, and were shown around the property and had an informal discussion about the current state of the building and the Trustee’s plan to sell the building to be redeveloped.
The outcome of this meeting was discussed at length and it was agreed that the Parish Council should try to help to keep the building in the village for future use within the Community. It was agreed that a Public meeting should be held shortly so local residents are made aware of the situation and be given the opportunity to put forward any ideas for a solution. Resolved- Title deeds to the building to be requested from Land registry, and a further copy of the constitution requested from the Charity Commission. To be put on agenda for further discussion at the next meeting of the full Council
